Our mission is to create empowering Black media representation.

We challenge media stereotypes by producing inspiring journalistic stories in innovative formats, such as animation films. With a focus on solution journalism, we aim to provide empowering Black media representation, showcasing strategies and solutions for Black communities on both small and large scales. Our prototype, blackcitystories.org, received the Stars for Media Diversity award in 2020.
